ASI Employees Perform “Thriller”
5 November 2008 – 5:55 pm
ASI Employees and their family members were thrilled to be part of the ASI Halloween float. Each year, employees took time on their own to plan, design, and put together a float for both the Lansford Pumpkin Parade and the Tamaqua Halloween Parade. This year, the Pumpkin Parade was rained out and cancelled, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time in the Tamaqua parade.

The Tamaqua Halloween Parade was held the night of October 29th and participants were judged by the Tamaqua Lions Club. The following day, employees of ASI were notified they had won the “Best In Show” award for the second year of their participation. They have also won awards in previous years in both parades for their 2005 “Wizard of Oz” and 2007 “Grease” themes. “It is great to see such teamwork and dedication our employees have, all the while still having fun with these parades”, Angela Costello commented. This year’s $150 prize will go towards their budget for future Halloween parades.

Below is a video that one employee was able to capture of ASI performing at the judges booth. Congratulations to everyone on a job well done!

One Response to “ASI Employees Perform “Thriller””
This was a very enjoyable time for everyone I am sure. We were all able to look “ugly” for a change. It was amazing how we all worked together to make this Thriller float the best it could be. I want to thank all my friends/coworkers for such a wonderful job. It was a night to remember!
